    Best Audio Deals This Month

We tracked prices on headphones, speakers, microphones, and DACs all month. These are the genuinely good deals worth buying right now.

Not every "deal" is actually a deal. Retailers inflate original prices to make discounts look deeper, and "Lightning Deals" often apply to products nobody wants at any price. We track actual price histories using CamelCamelCamel and Keepa, so when we say something is at a good price, we mean it's genuinely below its typical selling price.

    Headphone Deals

    Sony WH-1000XM5 — $278 (Usually $348)

The Sony WH-1000XM5 at $278 is the lowest non-Prime-Day price we've tracked. These are still the best overall noise-canceling headphones available. If you've been waiting for a price drop, this is it. The XM5 rarely goes below $300 outside of major sale events.

Verdict: Buy if you need premium noise-canceling headphones.

    Apple AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C) — $189 (Usually $249)

The AirPods Pro 2 at $189 is a solid deal. These are the best earbuds for iPhone users — the noise cancellation, transparency mode, and spatial audio integration are unmatched in the Apple ecosystem. We've seen them hit $170 during Black Friday, so this isn't the absolute floor, but it's well below the typical $230-249 street price.

Verdict: Good buy for iPhone users. Wait if you're not in a hurry — they'll be cheaper in November.

    JBL Tune 510BT — $25 (Usually $50)

At half price, these wireless on-ear headphones are the best value in audio right now. Sound quality is good (not great), Bluetooth 5.0 with 40-hour battery life, and they fold flat for travel. Not audiophile headphones, but at $25, they're better than any wired earbuds in the same price range.

Verdict: Buy as a backup pair or gift without hesitation.

    Speaker Deals

    JBL Flip 6 — $100 (Usually $130)

The JBL Flip 6 at $100 is its typical sale price — it drops to this level every few months. At $130, it's fairly priced. At $100, it's a no-brainer. IP67 waterproof, 12 hours battery, PartyBoost compatible, and it sounds excellent for the size.

Verdict: Great price if you need a portable speaker now. It drops to $80 during Prime Day and Black Friday.

    Sonos Era 100 — $199 (Usually $249)

The Sonos Era 100 is a compact smart speaker with excellent room-filling sound, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth. At $199, it's competitive with speakers that sound significantly worse. If you want a premium smart speaker for a single room, this is the best value in the category right now.

Verdict: Good deal if you're in the Sonos ecosystem. Otherwise, a Google Nest Audio at $60 delivers 80% of the experience.

    Microphone Deals

    Blue Yeti — $80 (Usually $110)

The Blue Yeti at $80 is a fair deal. It's been as low as $65 during Black Friday. If you need a USB mic for podcasting, Zoom calls, or streaming, $80 is a reasonable price for the most popular USB microphone ever made.

Verdict: Decent deal but not exceptional. Wait if you can.

    Samson Q2U — $35 (Usually $45)

Already the best budget podcast mic, the Q2U at $35 is an excellent value. USB and XLR connectivity, dynamic capsule that rejects background noise, and sound quality that punches way above its price.

Verdict: Buy it. This is close to the lowest price we've seen.

    DAC/Amp Deals

    iFi Zen DAC V2 — $89 (Usually $99)

A $10 discount doesn't sound exciting, but the Zen DAC V2 rarely goes on sale at all. At $89, it's the best desktop DAC under $100 and now technically the best desktop DAC under $90.

Verdict: Buy if you've been considering it. iFi products hold their price.

    How to Never Overpay

Install the Keepa browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). It shows Amazon price history directly on product pages. Before clicking "Buy," check whether the current price is truly low or just appears low because of an inflated "List Price." A product listed at "$200, was $400" might have never actually sold at $400.
